Wednesday wreck on U.S. 211

An injured occupant of one of three cars involved in an accident Wednesday (June 20) on U.S. 211 at Gid Brown Hollow Road is carried into a Washington Volunteer Fire and Rescue ambulance early Wednesday afternoon. Sheriff’s Office deputies, Virginia State Police and at least four volunteer fire and rescue companies were on the scene, and a Medevac helicopter transported at least one injured person to Winchester Medical Center. Details of the accident were not available at press time.
