I’m a Siberian husky – you know, one of the breed that kids often call “sled dogs,” who live in really cold places and work awfully hard. Ain’t me! I’m about 3 years old and have an independent streak. I do well with humans and other dogs. Cats, in my opinion, are only good for stalking and chasing. I’m not bad in the manners department and I require a fenced yard in my new home. Beautiful, too, they say. Come to the shelter and take a gander.
The past two weeks, four of my canine colleagues were joined with new owners. The Rappahannock Animal Welfare League (RAWL), 160 Weaver Road, Amissville, is open 8 to 1 daily. Call 540-937-3283 or visit www.rawldogs.org.
