Rappahannock Lions Club member Bob Anderson (right) presents a check for $600 to Kenner Love, Rappahannock County’s Extension agent. The funds will be used to provide scholarships for eligible Rappahannock County youth to attend the 4-H Summer Camp program. The Lions’ motto of “We Serve” includes raising funds through sale of homemade apple butter and the organization’s annual Chili Cook-Off and Raffle/Draw-Down, which allow the Lions to donate many thousands to support programs for the county’s youth.
