Rappahannock Relay for Life

From: May 17 at 4 PM
To: May 17 at 11 PM

The pre-Relay activities begin with campsite set-up and registration for those not pre-registered at 4 p.m. At the Rappahannock County Elementary School. Cancer survivors are encouraged to register at the reception area around 4:00 p.m. even if they are not on a team. The official opening ceremony will begin shortly afterwards. It will be followed by the Survivor Walk. A good way to join in the fight against cancer is to join or sponsor a team or generously contribute to a team or to the event. It is not too late. Contributions made before 11 p.m. on the night of the Relay will be counted towards the competition for highest amounts raised by teams and individuals. However, funds submitted after that deadline will still count towards the Relay’s total. The closing ceremony is at 8 a.m. on May 18. Contact Evelyne Latham at 540-675-3398 or Bette Mahoney at 540-675-3446 or join us at the Relay and make your contribution then.
