Musicians, bands, singers, actors and dancers are invited to audition for the Hearthstone School’s variety show with a theme of “The Beatles,” acts featuring the band’s music, any style, including any Beatles tune-inspired movement, dance, acting and more. River District Arts welcomes Dutch painter Ronald Kleijer to the Confluent Gallery at Rappahannock Central for an exhibit this Saturday through April 1 featuring Kleijer’s “Silk Road” series of oils of life in central Asia. Kleijer lives in Uzbekistan and studied at the Royal Art Academy in The Netherlands; he applies the Old Dutch Masters’ techniques to his paintings.
