Come support Anita Hartke
I'd like to invite everyone to the fund raising event being hosted by
the Culpeper Democratic Committee, for congressional candidate and
Amissville resident Anita Hartke in her bid to unseat Eric Cantor
this fall for the 7th District seat in the U.S House of
Representatives. Democratic National Committee chairman Howard Dean
will be speaking, and a delicious dinner will be served afterwards.
I'm excited to announce that I've been invited to provide the
entertainment for the evening, so I'll be singing all your jazz
favorites from the 40s with saxophonist Bob Rice of Warrenton,
pianist and former Sperryville resident George Sims, and drummer
Larry Livingston of Manassas. The festivities will be held at the
Culpeper Country Club on Thursday, April 10, at 5:30 p.m. Deadline for
reservations is Saturday, April 5, cost is $75, and available by
