Something to crow about

The adventure continues. Last Friday, April 11,  Vincent Deluise and Heidi Morf opened 24 Crows, a small shop offering light food, coffee, colorful art and an array of knick-knacks in Flint Hill.
The couple formerly ran the acclaimed restaurant Four and Twenty Blackbirds in the same pastel-colored building where they welcomed over 50 guests on their opening day last week.
Four and Twenty Blackbirds closed last July. Deluise and Morf then jumped into renovating the space to open the new shop.
"We're hoping to do something a little less intense than a restaurant," Deluise said.
But food will still be served at 24 Crows. The mornings will feature baked goods, and sandwiches and soups will be  on the menu in the afternoons.
Paintings for sale decorate the walls, and bright glass globes and other pieces sparkle throughout the store.
24 Crows is located at 650 Zachary Taylor Highway. It is open Thursday through Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and Monday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Phone: (540) 675-1111
