County and town meetings
On Thursday, Aug. 7 the Rappahannock County Water and Sewer Authority will meet at 7:30 p.m. at the Rappahannock County courthouse on Gay Street.
On Tuesday, Aug. 12 the Rappahannock County School Board will meet at 7 p.m. for a closed session and at 7:30 p.m. for a public session at the high school band room.
The Washington Town Council will hold its monthly meeting on Aug. 13 at 7:30 p.m. in the Town Hall on Gay Street. Highlights include updates on a wastewater system, a water tap request, and on Allegheny Power's request for an electricity franchise.
The August meeting of the Rappahannock County Planning Commission has been canceled.
