Youth wins gold, bronze medals at national competition

 Bryce David Jones, 7, of Amissville received a gold medal in forms and a bronze medal in sparring at the 2008 AAU Youth and Adult Tae Kwon Do Championship in Madison, Wis., July 1-5.

After winning two gold medals in the Regional AAU Tae Kwon Do competition, Bryce was invited to compete in the nationals. This was his first national competition.

Bryce will be a second grader at Rappahannock County Elementary School in the fall.

Bryce is a student of the Grand Master Ron Jenkins, Karate Sports Academy in Warrenton.
