The Wayland Blue Ridge Baptist Association, Inc., will hold its 119th Annual Session, August 12-15, at the Wayland Blue Ridge Baptist Center, 15044 Ryland Chapel Rd., Rixeyville. The sessions begin at 9:30 a.m. daily. Lunch may be purchased onsite for a nominal fee. Highlights this year include Youth Day on Tuesday featuring a College Prep Workshop in the afternoon presented by Dream Big Inc., Hampton/Atlanta, Ga. The target audience is 5th grade and up, parents, guardians, teachers, ministers, etc. The workshop provides tools and techniques for the applications process, choosing the right school for you, scholarship information, college tours and more.
