Town and County Meetings
On Thursday, Oct. 2 the Rappahannock County Water and Sewer Authority will meet at 7:30 p.m. at the Rappahannock County courthouse on Gay Street.
On Monday, Oct. 6 the Rappahannock County Board of Supervisors will meet at a 2 p.m. session. The board also will hold a public hearing at 7 p.m. on an application to convert a Huntly sawmill property to the headquarters of a septic-system pumping business. Both meetings will be at the Rappahannock County courthouse on Gay Street.
On Wednesday, Oct. 8 the Washington Town Council will meet at 7:30 p.m. at the Town Hall on Gay Street. Agenda items include updates on the wastewater system, water tap request and Allegheny Power's request for an electricity franchise. There is a public hearing on a special use application for 329 Main Street to operate a business by Miriam White, dba Mountain Rose Massage and Energy Center.
