Megan Wheatley attends national forum on medicine
Rappahannock County High School senior, Megan Wheatley, spent 10 days this summer attending the National Youth Leadership Forum on Medicine in Boston, Mass.Megan participated in activities and scenarios that engaged her and her peers in actual medical experiences including performing triage, suturing and observing surgery. In addition, Megan traveled to Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University and Northeastern University to discuss with current medical students their experiences while attending medical school. Megan also joined with her peers in lectures, discussions, and debates on current public health issues and concerns.
Megan is active at RCHS as a member of the National Honor Society, the co-editor of the RCHS yearbook, member of the varsity volleyball, basketball, and soccer teams, member of the Leo Club, and a member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
