Love and Faithfullness Church is having revival services from Thursday, Sept. 25 through Saturday, Sept. 27 at 7 p.m. Guest preachers are : Thursday, Pastor Willie; Friday, Evangelist Debra Frye; and Saturday, Rev. Promise Land Baptist Church, Washington, will have two nights of meetings beginning Thursday, Sept. 25 with Rev. Garry Brown, pastor-elect of Hopewell Baptist Church, Sperryville, and Friday, Sept. 26 with Rev. Dr. Wendell R. Grant, pastor First Baptist, Washington and Salem Baptist Church, Marshall. Services will begin nightly at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 28 is its annual Homecoming at Promise Land. The guests for the 3 p.m. service are the Rev. Richard Garner and his choir and congregation of Rieing Zion Baptist church, Jeffersonton. Everyone is welcome.
United Methodist Church, Sperryville, will have an evening of bluegrass and gospel music on Saturday, Sept. 27 at 7 p.m. Everyone is welcome to come out and enjoy some of Rappahannock's best traditional acoustic musicians, including Frank Riley and Jeannette Wood. Rev. Ronald L. Poe, pastor of the Woodville Baptist Church, invites everyone for their Homecoming on Sunday, Sept. 28. For the 11 a.m., worship service will be Rev. Ronald L. Poe, followed by a covered dish meal. The guest speaker will be Rev. Alpheus Atkins for the 2 p.m., service. Revival will start Sept. 29 and go through Oct. 1 with Rev. Alpheus Atkins. Services will begin nightly at 7:30 p.m.

Everyone is invited to join the members of Novum Baptist Church, Reva, for its annual Homecoming and Revival Services beginning Sunday, Sept. 28 with worship at 8:30 a.m., and again at 11 a.m. Sunday schools are held in between services at 9:45 a.m. The Homecoming covered dish fellowship meal will be held at the church following the 11 a.m., worship service. The Flint Hill Baptist Church invites the public to attend its annual Homecoming event on Oct., 12 at 11 a.m. The guest speaker is Rev. Robert O. Goff with special music and entertainment by the RMA cadets. A covered dish luncheon will be held at the Flint Hill Fire Department following the service.
Area youth are invited to showcase their talent in the First “The GOSPEL” Youth Talent Showcase on Friday, Oct. 24, at 7:30 p.m., to be held at the Wayland Blue Ridge Baptist Center, 15044 Ryland Chapel Rd., Rixeyville. There will be five categories: Solo, Duo/Group, Dance/Step, Spoken Word, Instrumentalists. Winners will be awarded trophies as determined by local area judges. The registration fee is $10/per entry and applications must be received by Oct. 15. F. T. Baptist Church will have its dedication service for a new installed pipe organ on Sunday, Oct. 26 at 2 p.m. There will be an organ demonstration and several performers.
