Obituary

Linda C. Mallory

Died May 5, 2008

Amissville resident

Linda Crim Mallory, 60, of Amissville died May 5 at Fauquier Hospital in Warrenton, VA.

Mrs. Mallory was born June 17, 1947.

She received her BS in Elementary Education from Cheyney State University. She taught for 35 years in Fauquier County including MM Pierce, CM Bradley and WC Coleman Elementary Schools. She was also a member of Women's Progressive Club, National Katoctan Baptist Association and a faithful member of Mt. Morriah Baptist Church, Amissville where she taught Sunday School and was active with the youth.

Mrs. Mallory is survived by her husband, Jerome Mallory, a daughter, Jerri D. Mallory, both from Amissville, a son, Anwar K. Mallory, Warrenton and three grandchildren.

Additional survivors include one sister, Jennifer C. Couthen, Atlantic City, N.J.

Family will receive friends on Thursday, May 8, from 7-9 p.m. at Joynes Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 9, at noon at the Bethel Baptist Church, 705 Viewtown Road, Amissville, with Rev. Homer E. Jones officiating and Rev. Lemuel Montgomery will deliver the Eulogy. Interment will follow in Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery, Amissville Va.
