In reading the paper last week, I was surprised by the tone of Waterpenny Farm’s attack on farmers who view any farmer who says that the requirement to fence off streams would end farming is somehow doing something wrong. Farming in Rappahannock is situational.
The Planning Commission public hearing on the Williams Tree Service application for a special exception permit and other matters is 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 21 at the county courthouse. The date and the type of decision sought were incorrect in a story in last Thursday’s paper.
A front-page photo in last Thursday’s paper misidentified the high-water kayaker as Chris Moyles. It was Tyler Holtzman of Sperryville in the kayak; Moyles took the picture.
